Although she started late in the world of climbing, Catalina Quesada has been the first Andalusian woman in climbing a 8.000 meters mountain. She also made her dream come true and reached the top of the world when she climbed the Everest in 2008; she was also the first Andalusian woman who achieved this. Her next challenge is to get to the top of the highest mountains of each continent. She has already reached five of them.

Pablo Rodríguez Tabernero was one of the finalists in the Shiny People section at the Andalusian Stories Awards 2014. This golf player, that dream about winning a Ryder, started practicing his swing since he was only four years old. When he was eight he already played with the Royal Andalusian Federation and at fifteen he has become champion of the Spanish National Scorables. This career is the reason why he has been called to play with the National Golf Team.

Pedro Medina is a biologist that has just received the BIAL Award one of the most prestigious awards of scientific research in the area of health in Europe. From the Genomics and Oncology Research Centre at the „Health Science and Technology Park“ in Granada he fights against cancer through genetic investigation.  This defender of the public sphere, that considers himself as a product of the public system, combines his investigations with his work as a professor at the University of Granada.
